Your health information (HIPAA)

Coast to Coast Health Group, LLC is a HIPAA-covered entity. The health information you share with your provider is protected by federal law. Our full Notice of Privacy Practices describes how we use and disclose your health information and the rights you have over it. It is posted on this website, provided at your first appointment, and available on request.

Website information

This website is for general information only. We don't hold appointments, store medical records, or take payments here.

Information we collect

When you request an appointment through this website, the booking window collects the contact information needed to schedule a visit. That window is run by our practice management system, and the information goes straight there. This website never stores it.

We gather it for booking, and we use it for booking. It is never sold, rented, or traded, and never shared with anyone for marketing.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not use advertising cookies, remarketing pixels, or social media tracking pixels.

This website does not run analytics software. We do not count or record your visits to individual pages, and no third-party analytics service receives information about the pages you view here.

This website doesn't track you across other sites, so a Do Not Track signal has nothing to change here.

Who we share information with

We share your information only with the service providers who help us run the practice: our practice management and scheduling system, our phone and text messaging provider, and our email and calendar provider. Each one is bound by a signed business associate agreement and may use your information only to provide that service to us.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it. Nothing else.

Reviewing and updating your information

You can review and update the information we hold about you through the patient portal, or by contacting our Privacy Officer below. Your rights over your health record specifically are broader, and they're described in our Notice of Privacy Practices.

Text messages (SMS)

By providing your phone number, you consent to receive text messages from Coast to Coast Health Group related to appointments, services, and administrative matters such as billing and customer service. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for assistance.

To provide these services we may collect your name, phone number, and email address, and use them for appointment reminders, customer service, billing, and other administrative requests.

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. This includes text messaging opt-in data and consent. We do not sell your phone number. You can have your information removed at any time by contacting us by email or regular mail. These practices follow CTIA guidelines 5.2.1.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change materially affects how we handle information you've already given us, we'll tell you by email or through the patient portal.
